Occasionally, in a complicated or unusual situation, I will request the opinion of one of my sub specialist colleagues. I'm proud to be affiliated with our outstanding full service network of sub specialists practicing in our community. If you have an HMO insurance plan, a prior authorization is often required. With other insurance plans a direct referral can be generated by myself.

In either case, a follow-up appointment will be arranged with me to best integrate the recommendations of the sub specialist into your total health care program.

Urgent and emergent requests will be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
